Built between sets.
We're building the discovery, tracking and trust layer for India's independent gym ecosystem — the neighbourhood gyms and the trainers who make them work.
The story
India's fitness culture doesn't live in franchise chains. It lives in thousands of independent neighbourhood gyms — the basement iron paradise, the 24×7 shutter gym near the IT park, the family-run fitness centre that knows every member by name. Inside them work independent personal trainers coaching ten, fifteen, twenty clients at a time, holding entire careers together with WhatsApp threads and paper diaries.
We watched a brilliant trainer flip between seven chat threads to find one client's squat numbers. We watched a serious lifter lose a year of progress notes to a gym-bag water bottle. We watched newcomers pick trainers on hearsay because there was no trustworthy record of who was actually good.
koRep is our answer: one app where gym-goers find rated, verified trainers at their own gym, where every set is logged in under three seconds on the gym floor, and where progress, payments and reputations are on the record — permanently.
We're building it one neighbourhood gym at a time — starting where we live and lift.
"All the data belongs to the member. The trainer's access ends when the relationship does — the member keeps everything, forever."
Three principles, non-negotiable.
Your data is yours
Every session, plan and payment record belongs to the member — not to us, and not to any trainer. End a coaching relationship and the trainer's access ends that instant, enforced in the database itself. Nothing you built is ever held hostage.
Trust is earned on the floor
Verification comes from coaching real clients through real sessions — never from paying us. Reviews unlock only after genuine training history, stay anonymous, and can't be deleted by the trainer. Reputation on koRep means something.
Fast enough for the gym floor
Value is delivered between sets, not at a desk. Every logging interaction is designed to finish in under three seconds, on the mid-tier Android phones India actually carries, with steppers instead of keyboards and type you can read under gym lights.
Lift with us.
Whether you're a gym-goer, a trainer building a roster, or a gym owner who wants your floor on the map — we'd love to hear from you.
