In short — the plain-language version
- Money you pay your trainer goes directly to them over UPI — refunds for coaching are between you and your trainer, though we'll help with records.
- koRep subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. You keep access until the end of the paid period; we don't delete your data when a plan ends.
- We refund duplicate charges, failed-but-charged payments and billing errors — report them within 7 days.
- Approved refunds reach your original payment method in 5–7 business days.
1.Two kinds of payments
Money on koRep moves in two very different ways, and the rules differ:
- Client → trainer payments — coaching fees paid directly from a client to a trainer over UPI. koRep records these but never holds the money.
- koRep subscriptions — amounts paid to koRep for paid tiers such as Trainer Pro or client analytics upgrades.
2.Payments to trainers (UPI pass-through)
- When you pay a trainer through the app, the money moves directly from your UPI app to the trainer's UPI handle. koRep is not a party to the transaction, does not collect or hold the funds, and charges no commission on it.
- Because we never receive this money, we cannot reverse or refund it ourselves. Refunds for coaching fees — for example, if you stop training mid-month — are governed by whatever you and your trainer agreed, and Indian consumer law.
- What we can do: provide both parties the dated, two-step-confirmed payment record from the app, which is usually enough to settle honest disagreements. Write to support@korep.fit with the payment date and amount.
- If a payment was made in error (wrong amount, wrong person), contact your bank or UPI app immediately — UPI-level disputes are handled by the banking system — and inform the trainer through the app.
- Trainers who repeatedly refuse to honour their own stated refund commitments may be suspended from the platform.
3.koRep subscriptions — cancellation
- You may cancel any koRep subscription at any time from the subscription screen in the app. No calls, no forms, no retention hoops.
- Cancellation stops future billing. You keep paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for; no pro-rata refund is issued for the unused remainder of a billing period.
- If a renewal payment fails or lapses, your account enters a short grace period with features intact before the subscription expires.
- When a subscription ends, paid features lock — but none of your data is deleted. Clients keep every session; trainers keep their roster and history visible on the free tier's terms.
- If you cancel an auto-debit mandate (e.g., UPI Autopay), the mandate is revoked with the payment provider and no further charges occur.
4.When we refund subscription payments
We issue refunds for:
- Duplicate charges — you were billed more than once for the same period.
- Failed-but-charged payments — money left your account but the subscription never activated, and the gateway confirms the capture.
- Billing errors — you were charged an amount different from the price shown in the app.
- Statutory rights — anything Indian consumer-protection law entitles you to.
We generally do not refund: partial unused periods after cancellation, charges older than 90 days, or subscriptions terminated for violations of our Terms & Conditions.
5.How to request a refund
- Email support@korep.fit from any address, including your registered phone number, the payment date and amount, and a short description of the issue. Please report duplicate or failed charges within 7 days of the transaction.
- We may verify the request against your registered number before processing.
